Do you struggle with what you should and should not eat in order to heal yourself naturally?
I used to and I tried a lot of different diets that didn’t really work.
First I tried the anti candida diet but I got really tired because I didn’t get enough carbohydrates and my candida did not even disappear.
Then I tried the adrenal fatigue diet but again I didn’t get the energy I was hoping for and my health was still a mess.
After that I tried a no gluten, no dairy, no refined sugar, no colourings or additive, and no stimulants diet and I did see a bit of improvement but overall I was still very ill.
Then one day some girl online suggested that I tried something she called the raw 80/10/10 diet, which focused a lot on fruit and certain vegetables/ greens.
It seemed a bit crazy to me at the time but I was willing to give it a try.
The numbers stood for certain ratios of raw fruits and vegetables, nuts and seed but I found it hard to figure out exactly what I should eat in the beginning and how to transition.
It was also hard for me to find any information regarding how much I should eat, and in what combinations so I had to buy several books before I learned the in’s and out’s of it all.
I started slowly and did a two weeks transitioning period and then I jumped in 100%.
It was quite a journey in the beginning because within a very short time I felt like I was flying.
My energy went crazy and I jumped out of bed and began to wash the floors and walls of my apartment and I also began to paint the windowsills.
After this initial positive stage I went into a period of detoxification where things would then get worse for a while before they started to get better.
This period can vary from person to person but the fact that I had seen positive improvements for the first time in years made me confident enough to stick with it despite the detox period.
Knowing that my body had begun to clean up inside was a positive sign even though I didn’t feel good at times but I trusted that my body knew what it was doing.
Then slowly over the course of months and years one by one my ailments disappeared. I was amazed.
Just think that something so simple as a diet change to natural raw foods filled with vitamins and minerals could make such a difference!
But that was not all the diet did for me.
After a while I also started to feel happier, more connected to my surroundings and my relationships with friends and family improved because I had become a different person.
I simply had to share this diet and lifestyle with the world and from that moment on I decided that I would make it my mission to help other ill people get well too.
I simply could not keep this information to myself!
