What to do step by step
1. The microbiome test normally costs £169 (app. $225 USD) but you will get it for only £119 (app. $158) because I will send you a discount code for £50 off (app. $67 USD).
2. Then you click the link in the email and buy the test with this discount code. It generally takes about a week for the test kit to arrive at you door.
3. Next you watch the video on how to take the test and then you are ready to collect your stool sample. You will use a swab to collect less than the size of a grain of rice size of your stool.
4. The swab is stirred in a little container with liquid and send back to Biomesight (instructions will follow).
5. It will take about two weeks (possibly 3) for the results to be available in your online portal.
6. Finally you give Louise access to your results and within a week she will send you your personalised pdf report via e-mail so you can get started.
What type of test is it?
The Biomesight test is a DNA stool test that messures the bacterial composition of you colon. The test cannot register bacteria in the small intestine and it does not test for parasites, fungus, or virusses.
You will recieve a small box with the tools and instructions on how you take the test and how you ship it back to Biomesight in the UK. Once a week Biomesight send all their tests to a laboratory in the USA for developing.
You will get access to your results online on Biomesights website a few weeks later and they will send you an email when the results are ready.
What kind of diet will be recommended?
The diet which is recommend for modulating the microbiome is generally vegan with a few excemptons. If you do not want to eat certain foods you can chose not to.
The diet that Louise recommends is a low fat raw vegan, high fruit diet.
