Harriet is an ultra marathon mountain runner who eats mainly fruit and especially bananas. The raw vegan fruit based diet gives her so much energy that she constantly challenges herself with longer and longer distances. Every week she runs about 100km in the Spanish mountains as a practice and several times a year she does 200-300 km mountain races to challenge herself. But the next big race she is signed up to is a 900 km race across France in 1 year’s time.
She notices that she has a shorter recovery time, more energy and fewer injuries when she eats this way compared to how she used to eat.
